Because our products are handcrafted and often fragile, we follow a careful and transparent return and refund process to protect both our customers and our artisans.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the policy below.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns only in the following cases:
✔ Damaged item received
✔ Wrong item delivered
Since every product is handmade, minor variations in shape, size, texture, or color are not considered defects and are not eligible for return.
We do not accept returns for:

Change of mind

Handmade variations

Size or color differences due to lighting or screen settings

Items used, washed, or damaged after delivery
2. Reporting a Damage or Wrong Item
If your product arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Clear photos of the outer packaging

A short description of the issue
We cannot process claims without photos or if reported after 48 hours.
3. Replacement, Store Credit, or Refund
After reviewing your case, we may offer one of the following:
✔ Replacement of the item (if stock is available)
✔ Store credit for the same value
✔ Refund to your original payment method
The solution offered depends on:

Product availability

Nature of the damage

Courier inspection when required
Please note:

Refunds may take 7–10 business days to appear in your account.

Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the error is clearly from our side.
4. Return Shipping
In some cases, we may request the product to be sent back to us.

For incorrect or damaged items: Artlandexport may cover the return shipping, depending on the situation.

For all other cases: customers are responsible for return shipping.
Returned items must be in:

Original packaging

Unused condition
-
Safe and secure packing to avoid transit damage
5. Cancellations
Before Shipping
Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped.

After Shipping
Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
6. International Orders
For international customers:
- Custom duties, taxes and import fees of buyer’s country, should be paid by the buyer

Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not refundable.

Artlandexport is not responsible for delays caused by customs or local courier authorities.

Damage claims must still follow the 48-hour reporting rule.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:

Custom-made products

Bulk or wholesale orders

Discounted or sale items

Products damaged due to improper handling by the customer
